Black and White Flower

I found this flower in my backyard while I was mowing the lawn and thought it would make form a great photo. I like the clarity of the image, but the top of the image is cut off which I don't like. Either way the image turned out pretty good.

This picture was taken in late October. I played around with the shadows by putting the camera at different angles. This allowed me to capture the leaf with shadows on and around it. It took me a few tries before getting the right image, I wanted to capture an image with vibrant colors but also darkness, representing the changing of the seasons.
